Emily studied Interactive and Visual Design (Honours) at QUT as well as abroad, at the University of Westminster in London. The breadth of her studies has allowed for development in multiple creative disciplines such as graphic design, videography, photography, spatial design, interaction design and typography. Illustration sits highest on the list of personally developed skills, one that she offers most regularly to freelance clients. Emily has been heavily involved in social media content creation via personal and client channels. This has developed an eye for filming, shooting and capturing content and producing it for platforms like Instagram.

Her 2019 Honours program (directed by Jane Turner and Astrid Kensinger) was an exegesis and visual commentary (80 page book) on the sharing economy and how it shapes creatives. This project showcased at 2019 QUT Honours showcase was awarded the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre award and the Romeo Digital Agency excellence award.

Emily has held design positions with leading Australian retailers and agencies working in marketing and user experience. Emily has tutored and lectured at QUT for Interactive and Visuals Design, as well as Fashion Communication units.
